Stop the Proposed Logging of the Morgan-Monroe Backcountry

The backcountry area of Morgan-Monroe State Forest
has been set aside from logging since the 1980's,
to provide a backcountry camping experience for Indiana citizens.
Help stop the logging plan!

Contact State Forester John Seifert and
MMSF Property Manager Jim Allen
by letter, phone or email.

• Tell them about your positive experiences hiking or camping
in the Backcountry Area of Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forest.
• Let them know how many people use this area and what it means to you.
• Ask them to cancel the logging plan for the backcountry and to
create a permanent rule to exclude the area from logging.
